![]() ![]() From there the chance of getting a seat let alone a sunbed was non existent so plenty of the stuff you pay for not so much the "free" stuff and to be honest for the amount of people that are coming in there was no chance of a lot of people getting a seat there just wasn't enough space. When you enter the park there are lockers $10 or $15 each for the day now the park is really busy its 11.00 o a Friday but no issue 2 lockers between 5 of us meant the $15 lockers. When it comes to a wave pool I have never experienced better but its the rest of the park thar brings it down for me and it's the same old story money making over customers experience or it certainly looks that way. Now I'm not a fan of water parks as I don't do most of the rides but this is my second favourite park. Make sure you experience the 6 foot swells in the wave pool! This park for me is more aesthetically pleasing than blizzard beach and it’s quite a bit bigger. There’s a good mix of intensity so everyone should be ok to find something they like. The other slides are less intense and pretty much suitable for anyone who makes the height restriction. Mayday is quite a long ride with a good mix of elements on the way down. Crush n gusher is a water coaster for 1 or 2 people with uphills and propulsion pads and mayday falls is a single seater raft ride. The other two highlights are crush ’n’ gusher and mayday falls. By the time you shoot out of the end you are left wondering what just happened. This slide is like being rocketed through a car wash, it’s certainly one to make sure you close your mouth on. It didn’t disappoint, I think the unbelievably huge waves in the pool are the USP for TL and the family agreed. It’s one of the main things I remembered from my trips to Florida as a teenager. We had a good day out at typhoon lagoon, it was the first of the 3 water parks we visited because I’d been telling my wife and our son about the waves for years. In order to save time I opted for a lift, and this was approx $9 each way to caribbean beach. If you're staying at a Disney hotel you need to get a bus here from disney springs. Towels are free to disney resort guests, I don't know if there are costs if you're not staying on site. Female Changing area was spacious and showers were available. Park was clean, staff friendly and helpful and just a great park. Highly recommend the funnel cakes for a treat. The pool is huge so even on a busy day plenty of space.įood offerings were good quality and varied. Honestly so much fun, we didn't even do any slides as my daughter just wanted to be in that pool all day. Lifeguards are present and were very vigilant. Hold on to.your hats and glasses!Įven at the edge of the pool where you think you will be ok the current is still strong. You will get knocked over and go under the water. The big waves were pretty much continuous for an hour at a time. The wave machine there is something else, it literally knocks you off your feet. We spent pretty much the whole day in the main pool. We loved the lazy River, good availability of rings and chair to sit on. These were sold out when we went but we didn't need it. Sunbeds and chairs did fill up pretty quickly but we did end up finding a couple of chairs to sit on. You can buy a refillable souvenir cup for just under $12. You can open this as many times as needed during the day and a large locker is $15 a day. Lockers were easy to hire, you purchase a locker via the kiosk and chose a code to open the locker. We arrived at 10.20am, no queues on arrival. We had a brilliant day at Typhoon Lagoon. ![]()
